Note book and pen. Your bike if you have one. Spare tube and changing kit
appropriate for your bike.
Lunch if you want to picnic in.

to complete a triathlon".
Getting a physician clearance if necessary.

Discussion of upcoming triathlons, discussion of distances, how to choose
your tri and register ASAP

Choosing a training plan, (private coaching, books and other resources.)
Places to train. Local Sports Clubs.

Guest speaker. Topic: "How I went from Couch Potato Man to Ironman"

What you need to get started. The basic shopping list. Discussion of bikes,
bike fitting, nutrition while training and racing, discussion of transition
area for race day and strategy for beginners on race day.
12:00 to 1:00
Lunch break. Bring your own or go out.
1:00 to 2:00
Question and answer with Brian Smallwood.
Changing a flat tire. Hands on. Getting comfortable with changing your bike
tires.
